Trier sight seeing walk
Trier was a modern city during the roman empire and one of the hot spots in that region. These days you can still see a lot of signs from that time there. Starting with the famous Porta Nigra and ending with the Amphi theater is became to one of the most visiting places in Germany for tourist from abroad. And this for reason: Trier is a typical german city with these nice built historical half timbered houses everybody knows. The charme of cozy restaurants and wine bar places makes it as well to a place which you really need to visit!
For the Imperial Baths (Kaiserthermen), Porta Nigra and Amphie Theater you have to pay 4 Euro entrance fee (2024). The dome is for free and the Barbara baths as well. Children under 7 are free of charge. You can get a family ticket which fives you a lot of discount for the visit.
